Rainier Truck & Chassis LLC of Yakima, Washington after four months of renovation work Rainier has finally got their pilot production plant operational. Currently they are continuing to spec and secure components for production of their low cost common cab / chassis COE platform. Factory direct on line orders from their dealer and consumer base is up 92% from last year. Company Officials’ attribute the robust sales to consumers wanting a COE truck that has a lower acquisition cost, that is simpler to operate and maintain and that offers an uncompromising powerful and reliable Cummins / Allison powertrain.
In other news Rainier has added a 36,000lb GVW Class 8 COE truck model to their lineup called the RT 3600. With the addition of the Class 8 COE, Rainier can now offer its dealers and customers a complete COE line up from Class 4 to 8 for their business operations and vocational needs.
Pre production parts ordering has commenced,Rainier signing up new dealers and is taking orders for 2019 model year trucks.
Model year 2018 truck specifications released, optional air suspension w/electric dump switch and transmission cooler becomes standard equipment on entire line up.
Rainier is taking orders for all new models incorporating the new SINOTRUK cabins. Production is set to begin in summer of 2018.
